The one appliance you don’t want to fail, amirite? Proper air flow and solid electrical components are critical!
Thoroughly clean and straighten the rear coils. This is were the outside air is used to dissipate heat. It also collects dust and pollen, just like the unit outside of your house.
Clean and deodorize the coils that cool the air you breathe. These coils can collect mildew and grease from the inside air.
Test the major electrical components. Over time, the constant on/off cycling can wear down these components. Replace them before they cause more damage
Seal air leaks. Efficient air flow inside the cooling chamber will ensure you are cooling the inside of the RV

RV Roofs take a lot of abuse from UV rays. Sealant should be replaced every 5 years, and inspected TWICE a year. The caulk can become brittle and the smallest crack can lead to massive water damage
